Notes
The first time you arrive without a gate pass you will need to stop at the Welcome Center.So you will have to arrive during there business hours:
Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Friday - Saturday 7:30 am - midnight
Sunday 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
Once you have been to the cabin and have a pass you will not have to go to the welcome center again.
The community has paved roads. The cabin has a steep concrete driveway that accommodates 2 vehicles. There is not any off road parking. Additional vehicles will need to park at main gate. Four wheel drive not necessary. Your cell phone should work, but if not, there is a land line available in cabin for local calls only. Open fires are absolutely prohibited anywhere in the Walnut Mountain community. Sleepy Hollow Lodge is a smoke free property.
