Ellijay Farmer`s Market
| Ellijay Farmers Market opens the last Saturday of April and closes on 1st Saturday of October.

Farmers, bakers, and candle stick makers! Not quite, but we have vendors of all sorts selling home grown, homemade, or home baked delicious breads, muffins, jellies, and pies. Plants, fresh eggs, seasonal vegetables, artisan soaps, jellies, etched glassware, , wood working, embroidered linens, fresh grass fed beef and pork products, and much needed - the ubiquitous carpenter bee traps. Things change from week to week with the occasional musician to entertain market goers, activities for children including face painting, and artists. We are open.8-12 noon every Saturday up until October 7, 2017. Come check us out. The Farmers Market is a project of the Master Gardeners of Gilmer County. We are on site to answer questions about plants and gardening, arrange home visits, and introduce classes or take-away projects we offer courtesy of the Gilmer County Library. | In 2000, the Johnson family felt led to establish a retail store fulfilling Carrie`s dream of selling her dad`s hand-crafted furniture, along with other gifts and accent items and using her business education and experience.
After prayerfully searching, they drove down Main Street in Blue Ridge and immediately knew they had found the place. Mama Bear (Sandra) wrote a check for the first month’s rent to the owners of Fieldstone Village, the Mason`s, who proved to be more friends and helpers than Landlords.
We opened a small store on the hill, next to the Deli. Since most of the town was antique stores, we wanted to do something different that did not hurt other established businesses. The name “Tomorrows Antiques Today” was chosen to reflect that the furniture made by "Papa Bear" (Ray) would one day be antiques.
It didn’t take long for us to realize we needed more space. As we began praying the Jabez prayer from 1 Chronicles 4:10, we began to see God`s hand in expanding the business. Over the course of the next year, God expanded us 3 times. It was then that the owners of the building decided to build a 2-story building for us.
Ray was building custom furniture in Ellijay but desired to be closer to the store in Blue Ridge. As the owners built the 2-story store they decided to include a shop out back. “TAT” moved into the two story building and the business continued to grow. Soon we expanded into the store next to us creating our "Bear Bed and Bath." As we continued to grow we added more and more bear products, soon we began hearing customers on their cell phones saying, “Come on down the street, we are in “the bear store" transforming us from "TAT" to The Bear Store. |

The Chocolate Express

Rusted Buffalo
| PJ’s Rusted Buffalo first opened in 1998 in McDonough, Georgia as a designer store specializing in custom iron furniture. After relocating to the North Georgia Mountains in 2005, we opened a new store and began to feature Himalayan salt lamps that exude ambient lighting.
Upon learning that research based studies linked health benefits to the salt lamps, these positive attributes allowed the lamps to become the highlight of our store. Our pure 260 million year old Himalayan salt crystal lamps are imported directly from the Himalayan Mountains.
After broadening our knowledge of the salt lamp qualities, our customers began to understand that they are more than just lovely warm lighting, and how important their function as a natural ionic device and air purifier would be to their health issues. After much success supplying our Ellijay store in North Georgia with the unique and beneficial salt lamps, we opened our second store in Blue Ridge, Georgia in 2010, our third store the following year in Dahlonega, Georgia.
We also custom design “firepots” using salt crystal chunks in fine metal baskets. These “firepots” appear to glow as if they were burning coals.
You can now order these beautiful salt lamps and baskets online. Call any of our five locations concerning any related questions.
