The cabin is roughly 30 minutes from Elijay, located off Chatsworth’s main highway near Fort Mountain State Park. Cellular coverage is limited in this area, plan accordingly. Once you reach the cabin, it’s SOS coverage, until connecting to WiFi. The mountainside driveway is narrow with little space to maneuver. I had to seek out roadside assistance to safely leave the property. Unless you have an all wheel drive vehicle, find somewhere else to stay that’s safer to access. The interior of the cabin is inviting and cozy. A large deck across the back of the house w/ ample seating overlooking beautiful mountain views, accessed from the living room and two bedrooms. Fridge had a mold smell. The third bedroom is on the bottom level w/ full bathroom, kitchen, recreation/tv area, access to patio with hot tub. The hot tub was misrepresented in pictures. Its deteriorated condition is a health risk. The host compensated our stay. With safety improvements, this cabin could easily be a 5/5.

The views from the deck were great. The house setup was conducive to relaxing and hanging out with everyone. The hot tub water was old or not well treated so there was a bit of a smell, but other than that it was a great stay!

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was very quiet and secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. The place had plenty of room, and plenty of kitchen supplies to cook with. The view off the deck was amazing and we saw bears almost every day of our week long stay, which was a highlight for us. They seem like they are used to being fed, though, so make sure not to feed them. One note, the upper driveway that leads to the kitchen and living entrance requires 4 wheel drive. This wasn't a problem for us as we just went in the lower entrance and took the stairs, but something to note if you have someone older or disabled with you that has difficulty. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.

Located within several acres of secluded forest, Grassy Mountain View cabin is ideal for the nature lover, ready to explore the North Georgia Mountains, and the cabin dweller, eager to withdraw from everyday life. The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 6-7 guests, with several entertainment and recreation areas, such as a fire pit, recreation room, and comfortable living area around one of two gas fireplaces. The cabin has high-speed internet and several TVs, but most engaging are the breathtaking views of the mountains that surround the cabin. From the comfort of the indoors or on the patio, you have panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a perfect view of both Grassy Mountain and Bald Knob. The hiking, mountain biking, and exploring options are endless nearby in the  Chattahoochee National forest or Fort Mountain State Park. The cabin even has a few small trails within our own development. After a long day on the trails, guests are welcome to dip into the spa hot tub or schedule an in-cabin massage. Entire Home Dominic Pasqualini A car is needed and no parking on streets.
